Preserve ("we", "our", "us") is operated by Verto Studios. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.
We use your data solely to provide the Preserve service: calculating your Muscle Protection Score, personalising your protein goal, and sending you injection reminders if you enable notifications. We do not sell your data to third parties.
Health data is stored locally on your device using encrypted storage. If you create an account, your data is synced to secure cloud storage (Supabase) using industry-standard encryption.
To understand how the app is actually used and to fix bugs, Preserve records a masked visual replay of how you interact with the screen. Everything you type and every image shown on screen is masked on your device before the recording ever leaves it — we never see your actual text or photos in a replay. Recordings are stored by our analytics provider, PostHog, in its EU (Frankfurt) data center, and are automatically deleted after 30 days. The legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in understanding and improving the app. You can opt out of session recordings (and all analytics) at any time using the "Usage analytics & screen recordings" switch in Settings (available from the next app release), or by emailing vertosupport@agentmail.to.
You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings → Sign Out → Delete Account. For data requests, contact us at vertosupport@agentmail.to.
Preserve is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 13 (or under 16 in the European Economic Area). If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us at vertosupport@agentmail.to and we will delete it.
We may update this policy. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
